Fine Art Imagery

ABSTRACT  •  IMPRESSIONISTIC  •  SURREAL  •  IMAGERY

As man has evolved, art has also transcended time, mirroring the ever-changing human experience. Art often challenges the notion of conformity, questions contemporary issues, and captures the human spirit. Art can be simple and yet complex; intricate and yet esoteric as well as boundless. Being heavily influenced by Ansel Adams, the 19th century impressionists and the 20th century surrealists, my intention is to frame the human experience and it's subtle nuances through the vehicle of abstract, impressionistic, surreal photography. The use of vibrant colors and stark contrast draws the audience in. But, it is the subtle details within each artistic composition that maintains the attention of the art patron, challenging him or her and leaving them asking for more. Nothing is ever black and white and there are many shades of grey, once again making the audience question man's contemporary beliefs, values, traditions and trends.
